About the Position
As part of Goodyear’s innovation network, the Silicon Valley Innovation Lab has a mission to connect with automakers, suppliers and mobility-related startups to build better products and data-driven service models for fleets, autonomous vehicles and other mobility applications. The Senior Full Stack Software Developer will play a key part in developing digital products to support the development of new business models.
Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to design, build and launch new product features
Review, analyze and evaluate business/technical system requirements. Make recommendations as to how technologies can best be used to support the business/technical strategies
Provide engineering insight and feedback to Designers and Product Manager
Complete life-cycle testing (unit & integration). Lead continuous integration and delivery process
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or related field) & 7+ years’ experience required
Master's Degree in Computer Science (or related field) desired
Web design & mobile app development
Continuous integration and delivery
UX/UI design principles and communicating insights through data visualization
Skills and Abilities
Mobile app development (e.g. Swift, Objective-C, Java)
Backend framework (e.g. Django, Apache Server, PHP, Nginx, Flask, Python)
Experience with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure)
Continuous integration and delivery for cloud applications
